XS Performance Coil Springs

These are Thuren's 1994-2013 Xtra-Soft front coils. The original goal of these coils is to address the Hemi and Power Wagon trucks, but these are PLENTY durable to be used as an extra soft front coil on the Diesel trucks, also.

These coils free-height is the exact same 22" as our standard Diesel coils, so full flex and ultimate wheel travel is still available, as long as all the same shocks are used.

Only fits solid axle 4 link trucks: 1994-2013 2500 & 1994-2012 3500.

Being very soft, the end lift height will vary quite a bit if weight is added to the vehicle. Close estimates on lift heights below.

Leaf Springs

Our Long Travel leaf springs are designed to give the most suspension travel possible, while still being able to hold up to extreme off-road abuse. These leafs are very soft, and give the best street ride you can get.

  • Heat treated, shot peened, and manufactured from the highest quality materials available.
  • Can supply true, clean, 18" of active suspension travel.
  • Extended design uses shackle length and motion ratio to amplify wheel travel.
  • Very soft spring rate and ride feel, more like a 1/2 ton truck.
  • Designed to mount using the factory OEM u-bolts.
  • High quality PTMEG Polyurethane bushings.
  • Moves rear axle back slightly to help 37" tires clear the fender better.
  • Almost completely eliminates axle drive chatter in soft terrain/sand.
SHACKLE IMPORTANT NOTE: These leaf springs are extended length, MANDATING our shackles are used, and the longest length position on our shackle MUST be utilized. The factory OEM shackles will not work and leaf spring damage will occur if the shackle is not installed properly!
If you tow/load heavy weight often, please consult with us prior to purchase to make sure these are the right leafs for you!
Shipping notes:
We ship these leaf springs via UPS ground. They are very heavy and awkward, so picking up at your local UPS hub might be something you want to do. If you prefer to do that, once you get a tracking number from us, call UPS and have them kept on hold at your local UPS hub, and you can pick up there.

Fox 2.0 Shocks

Our Fox 2.0 IFP shocks offer great on and off road comfort. The aluminum body helps with cooling, so we can slow down the rebound damping reducing bounce, while fine tuning the compression dampening for comfort. These are a great option for anything from highway to lower to mid-speed off road driving, if you desire.

  • IMPORTANT: These front shocks listed fit and function with THUREN FRONT COILS ONLY!

Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks

Our Fox 2.0 Remote reservoir shocks offer great on and off road comfort. The remote reservoir provides additional cooling, so we can slow down the rebound damping reducing bounce, while fine tuning the compression dampening for comfort. These are a great option for anything from low speed off road, to moderately aggressive off road driving, if you desire.

  • Custom developed progressive valving to cover a vast array of driving conditions.
  • Aluminum main body and reservoir are highly corrosion resistant.
  • Shafts are standard chrome steel, so we suggest our shock boots if you live in a corrosive environment.
  • Front package includes shocks and our stainless steel reservoir mounts.
  • Rear package includes piggyback mounts and necessary hardware.
  • Front shocks are great up to 3.5" front lift maximum.
  • Rear shocks work well with stock or aftermarket leafs, up to a 1.5" rear lift.

 

King 2.0

Thuren KING 2.0 IFP shocks are designed to be as smooth as possible on rough highways, small to medium square-edge bumps, high speed gravel washboard roads, and slower crawling type driving. They can be a bit "floaty" at highway speeds, as a trade off for better small bump feel.
        These shocks are still smaller 2.0" diameter with no reservoir to help control heat, so fast higher speed, longer duration on bigger bump driving like hot summer desert trips, will EASILY overheat these shocks. Cooked shock oil is easy to assess and will void warranty if overheated. 
 
  • Great for moderate weight towing.
  • These rear shocks will fit and function fine with stock rear leaf springs, any brand 0-2" lift leafs, and our LT leafs also!
  • Our very custom tuning for these shocks is designed specifically for street ride quality, gravel/choppy roads, and slower speed off-road terrain.
  • Fully rebuildable shocks.
  • Eyelet/through bolt ends use full size teflon lined bearings.
  • With our coils these shocks provide 10" front and 12.5" rear wheel travel.  

Shock Boots

We suggest using shock boots if you live in extreme weather conditions, harsh winters with road salt, muddy conditions, etc.
  • Sold as a pair.
  • Small shock boot fits 2.0" diameter shocks, steering dampers, our Overland shocks, and most twin-tube shocks.
  • Large shock boots to fit 2.5" diameter shocks, and can squeeze over 3.0" shocks, too. 

Front Track Bar

Upgraded again for 2020, Thuren's proven Extreme duty trackbar will remain the same price! We've fine tuned a few processes, and started using special machined in-house Delrin articulating bushing for our frame side bushings. The Thuren trackbar is better than ever, and we think you will feel the same way!
The Thuren trackbar is designed to be VERY rigid. Often people will think that having a rigid bar will give steering rattle and feedback. Well, it's actually the opposite, in THIS case. Reason being, the trackbar is the only steering support. If the support(trackbar) deflects, the truck will be allowed to basically steer itself as you encounter bumps/ruts/holes/etc. A rigid trackbar is the only way to know that inputs you make at the steering wheel, actually GET TO the wheels.
BE SURE TO READ THE IMPORTANT UPGRADE NOTES BELOW IF YOU HAVE A 2003-2008 MODEL YEAR TRUCK!!!

2003 to approximately 2007.5 trucks used 14mm bolts(18mm socket head) on both ends. Around the middle of 2007 some trucks were coming with a 14mm bolt on one side, and a 16mm(21mm head) bolt on the other. If you have a 2007-2008 truck and you are unsure if you have mismatched hardware, you should purchase the above option with hardware(we send OEM nuts and bolts from the Ram dealer with this option) and plan to possibly drill out the mounting flange(s) to a 5/8"(16mm) hole. If you have a 2003-2007 truck, this is a good option also which will let you upgrade to the better hardware by drilling out the mounting flanges.

  • First place to start if your vehicle has ANY strange handling traits.
  • Made from 1.50"x3/8" wall 1026 DOM tube.
  • Delrin machined frame side bushing.
  • CNC machined form-threaded heim joint tube end.
  • Bead blast textured, then highest quality Powdercoated.
  • Adjustable length
  • Grease fitting for frame bushing.
  • Extreme duty FK Teflon lined rod end at axle side.

 

Sway Bar 1998.5-2002 2500 & 3500

Thuren's sway bar is a softer rate than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move more independently side to side. This smooths out off camber bumps, pot holes, and even simply turning into a drive way. Includes Sway bar, Frame mounts and End links. 
 
  • Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings. In this application, Heims can become noisy very early in the life-cycle, with the swaybar moving so much.
  • 6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly.
  • Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used in our other swaybar links.
  • Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example a slide in camper. Heavy weight in the bed below the rail, or on the trailer hitch, is no issue.
  • DOES NOT FIT 1994 to early 1998 axles with the "Cobra style" axle mount.
 
Sway Bar 2003-2013 2500 & 2003-2012 3500

Thuren's sway bar is a softer rate than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move more independently side to side. This smooths out off camber bumps, pot holes, and even simply turning into a drive way. Includes Sway bar, Frame mounts and End links.

  • May interfere with some steering box braces, check to brace to make sure a straight bar will clear.

 

XHD Sway Bar Links

Thuren's XHD swaybar links are the strongest, most versatile swaybar links available to fit the OEM front swaybar. These swaybar links allow you to retain the OEM swaybar, instead of our lighter rate Active Sway Bar, when your truck is outfitted with a higher center of gravity like a slide in camper, heavy roof rack, heavy roof top tent, etc.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE! It's rare, but we have seen some of the 2010+ OEM swaybars that are a bit wider than normal, where the clevis slips over the bar. If you have a 2010+ truck please verify that the tip of your swaybar is no wider than 1.67".
  • Same proven orbital JKS poly inner bushings used on our Active Rate Sway Bar.
  • Fully greaseable
  • 1/4" steel welded super stout clevis adapter.
  • 17-4 stainless steel crush sleeves and 1998.5-2013 adapter washers.
  • Zinc and Black Phosphate corrosion resistant hardware.
  • Does not fit the 1994 to early 1998 "Cobra style" axle mounts.

 

Thuren High Clearance Control Arms 1994-2013 2500 & 1994-2012 3500

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BOLT SIZES AND MODEL YEARS!!!!   If you have a 1998-2000 model year truck, it would be a good idea to check your actual trucks control arm bolt sizes, as we have seem them vary by truck production date. The 1994-1998 option will have 12mm bolts(the thread diameter not the bolt head wrench size) for the upper arms, and 14mm bolts for the lower. The 1999-2002 model option will be 14mm upper bolts, and 16mm lower bolts. If you order and receive the incorrect size arms, we are not responsible for return costs.

Our control arms are a great addition to any solid axle Dodge Ram! These arms are much stronger than the OEM arms, and have more clearance for turning bigger tires. Unlike OEM, our bushings have a good amount of deflection, and are not prone to failure with increased suspension travel.

  • Arms are 1/2" longer length, allowing the use of 37" tires, even with wheel offsets close to factory specs. 
  • Works on truck with no lift, or up to 3.5" of lift.
  • Lower arms are built from high strength 1.5"x3/8" wall 1026 DOM tube.
  • Upper arms are solid alloy bar
  • Wide flange joints, to make sure bolt torque has no problem keeping the arms locked in place, even under heavy abuse.
  • Includes new Grade 8 hardware for upper arm frame mounting location. Use OEM hardware for the other mounting points.
  • Bend in lower arms do not cross center, to retain impact strength.
  • Machined in house proprietary SELF CENTERING joints, to prevent the arms from rocking to one side and rubbing the frame/axle.
  • 17-4 Stainless Steel center pivots.17-4 Stainless is about as hard as a Grade 8 bolt, so these joints will not crush like other brand arms.
  • Stainless steel center pivots prevent rust-seizing of the bolts, for easy removal.
  • Joints are easy to grease and maintain, and when the day comes to rebuild, no special tools are required it is a very easy inexpensive job.
  • Arms are texture blasted before powdercoating, to prevent impact chipping of the coating.
  • Main joint bushings are a moderate durometer high quality PTMEG Polyurethane, for great wear resistance, and great vibration control.

       Few notes below, on adjustable control arms and control arm length. We often get people that insist they need adjustable control arms. About the only time this is true, is if you are trying to build a custom 4" or so lift, or if you want to run this style arm(short arms) on taller 4" to 6" lifts or so. Problem with both of these scenarios is discussed below.

  • With 0-3" of lift, you can only make the control arms 1/2" longer than stock. If you make them ANY longer, even 1/8", you will most likely hit the coil mount on the axle against the frame when the suspension cycles. Our arms are already the longest they can be with 0-3" of lift.
  • With over 4" of lift, short arms degrade handling and ride quality a MASSIVE amount. Instead of investing in expensive adjustable short arms, put that money into purchasing long arms, and build the truck the proper way.
  • Lifts between the 4" and 6" height requires all the same drop components. This means that with a 4" lift you have to limit bump travel 3". This means you increase your bump travel 1" more than stock. Massive waste of potential. For reference, our 3" lifts do not restrict bump travel, so you increase bump travel the full 3" when you lift 3".

 

Alien Long Arms 1994-2013 2500 & 1994-2012 3500

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BOLT SIZES AND MODEL YEARS!!!!   If you have a 1998-2000 model year truck, it would be a good idea to check your actual trucks control arm bolt sizes, as we have seem them vary by truck production date. The 1994-1998 option will have 12mm bolts(the thread diameter not the bolt head wrench size) for the upper arms, and 14mm bolts for the lower. The 1999-2002 model option will be 14mm upper bolts, and 16mm lower bolts. If you order and receive the incorrect size arms, we are not responsible for return costs.
  • The ultimate option for maximum performance!
  • Our long arms allow the axle to move in a more vertical motion, greatly improving ride quality compared to the factory OEM short-arm design.
  • Fit with ZERO lift up to 6" of lift.
  • Optimum cycle path of the suspension, to reduce roll-steer while keeping a bit of anti-dive, and easing driveline vibration.
  • Must be welded to frame, and OEM control arm mounts cut off/removed.
  • Uses our new self-centering 17-4 hardened stainless orbital joint pivots with .PTMEG Poly joints. EASY and cheap to rebuild if/when needed!
  • 0.00mm Offset wheels provide full turning radius with up to Toyo 37x13.5 MT tires. +18mm offset wheels will rub the paint a bit with 37x13.5 tire, but be tolerable.
  • Arms come powdercoated and assembled, while the brackets are raw steel for welding.

 

Fox ATS Steering Damper

IMPORTANT NOTES!!
  • This only fits the 2003-2007 trucks, so long as you have the 2008-2013 OEM upgraded Mopar steering installed!!!! You should have this regardless, as it is a big upgrade.
  • The provided clamp has an approximate 1.57" bore, designed to fit the OEM Mopar size steering tie rod. If you have aftermarket steering, you may need to fabricate some type of a shim if your tie rod diameter is different/smaller.

Fox 2.0 ATS(Adjustable-through-shaft) steering damper, specific for the 2008-2013 Ram 2500 and Power Wagon, and 2008-2012 Ram 3500 trucks!

  • Does not fit the solid front axle 2 wheel drive trucks.
  • This is the adjustable version.
  • Through-shaft technology prevents any internal pressure from inducing steering push/pull.
  • ATS uses metal bearing ends to be more effective, and is externally adjustable.
  • ATS is great for larger tires, as in the firmer settings are much more effective at controlling wobble.
  • Comes with bracket shown, needed for installation.

 

King Steering Damper

*BE SURE TO READ THE BELOW NOTES REGARDING 2003-2007 FITMENT.

      Striving to produce the ultimate steering damper, working together with KING Shocks for over a year, we came up with a great product for the Dodge Ram platform. This damper utilizes a very fine tuned damping profile, creating the ideal solution for the best control and feel possible! Every brand steering damper we've ever tested only started to function when you impact large hits, and did little to nothing to reduce small chatter and road imperfections felt through the steering wheel. This damper is internally tuned to control every aspect of the driving experience. While steering dampers in the past have been seen as an un-needed component, when it comes to handling and driving safety, this damper completely changes the game. The small shaft design allows us to ship each damper with the required 100psi minimum, needed to control the steering on these very heavy trucks.

Some notes about this product.

*High quality steering dampers are a finicky part to design. The main issue is being able to charge damper with the required 100psi minimum, without the damper inducing too much steering push to one side. If there is less than 100psi pressure charge, the damper can internally cavitate, causing it to momentarily loose function. Smaller lighter vehicles can use less pressure. The shaft diameter used is directly related to the amount of extra "push" the damper will give. For example a 7/8" diameter shaft damper will give right at 60lbs force push at 100psi. This damper with the 1/2" shaft only pushes with 19lbs of force, and with the extra tight seal head, the actual push at the steering linkage is reduced to almost nothing.

IMPORTANT!! IF YOU HAVE A 2003-2007 TRUCK YOU MUST HAVE THE 2008-2013 OEM MOPAR STEERING UPGRADE FOR THIS PART TO FIT!!

  • Fits 2008-2012 Ram 2500/3500/Power Wagon, and 2013 Ram 2500 and Power Wagon.
  • Fits 2003-2007 Rams with newer “T” style steering.
  • Made from 1.5” dia x .375” wall DOM and utilizing 7/8” shank FK heims and machined 17-4 stainless steel taper studs, allowing high deflection angles.
  • This drag link is a bit more tedious to adjust compared to the stock unit, but lasts much longer, and is much stronger.

 

Thuren XHD Steering

These steering kits are best suited for 6"-12" of lift looking for ultimate strength, and you MUST have over about 4.5" of lift ( enough for a drop track bar bracket) for these steering kits to fit/function at all.

      If you have 0-3" lift/leveling this steering will not function properly. Yes it can bolt up no problem, but the geometry is far off and the truck will not handle properly, massive bump steer, etc. No exceptions here!

      Each kit is custom built to match each vehicles specific lift height and suspension components. This kit does require permanent modifications to steering knuckles so factory steering cannot be put back on without purchasing new knuckles and possibly the pitman arm, depending on setup.

 **IMPORTANT NOTE ON LIFTS TALLER THAN 6"

If you have over 6" of lift, be sure to check your "trackbar drop bias" before you order. This bias, or, the difference between the actual trackbar bracket drop measurement, and lift height, should be no more than 4". This means if you have a 10" lift, you should have a measured 6" drop trackbar bracket. 12" lift = 8" drop trackbar bracket, etc... If you have a 8" lift and a measured 3" trackbar drop bracket, you need more trackbar drop. Fix that first before ordering this steering, or you will be fixing/reordering this all later down the road, again.

 

Thuren Steering Clamp

Most often used to mount steering dampers to the tie rod, these clamps can also be used for hydro-assist, custom steering mounts, and even components added to roll bars/etc.

Thuren Heim Joint Tie Rod End

IMPORTANT! READ BELOW NOTE REGARDING 2003-2007 FITMENT.

     This unit replaces the OEM 2008-2013 driver side Tie Rod End, at the steering knuckle. Over the last couple years, the latest steering kits released from Dodge had this failure issue pretty much fixed, but we have heard of failures still happening. If you are not sure if you have the latest version, this can be some assurance, or just a great replacement for a worn OEM joint.

  • Massive improvement in bottom-out comfort
  • ***Do NOT fit the rear if you have airbags mounted where the OEM bumps were.

Thuren Boogie Bumps are extremely soft, progressive, cellular foam bump stops. They effectively reduce bottom-out harshness, by controlling the last 2.5" of suspension travel, seamlessly absorbing up to 40,000 pounds of force . The cellular foam used also functions somewhat like memory foam, drastically reducing bounce when you inevitably do bottom out. These may look like normal rubber or Polyurethane bump stops but they are far from it! Boogie bumps are a key components required to comfortably take any Dodge Ram off road.

 

Axle Truss-Weld It Yourself

AAM 9.25 axles are prone to bending under harsh off road conditions when the front axle sees high shock loads like hitting the bump stops at a high rate of speed. Our weld in truss kit is made from the same 1.5”x.375” DOM tubing as our track bars and steering components providing plenty of strength and with bends in all the right spots to give you the most ground clearance possible. We feel the open design of our truss puts less stress on the axle assembly during the welding process and includes plates for the control arm mounts. This kit does require cutting, grinding and welding and should be installed by an experienced welder.

 

Thuren Rear DIY Bumper Bracket Kit

These brackets require you to supply the main 4"x4" cross section, and complete the full build yourself. All tube, tube work, hitch parts, etc are ALL up to you and not supplied. The only parts supplied are the flat .25" steel laser cut brackets seen.
