Take control of your steering with the Synergy 1994-1999 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Steering Kit. This bolt-on upgrade is a direct replacement for the factory setup—no drilling, no reaming, no compromises. By converting to a T-style steering layout, it eliminates the unpredictable toe change of the original Y-style design, without introducing bump steer like crossover systems can.

FITMENT NOTE: Regarding Dodge Ram 1500 4WD applications, this steering kit will only work on solid axle models.

  • Engineered for maximum articulation, the heavy duty tie rod is bent to clear sway bar mounts, differential cover, and steering pitman arm
  • Synergy Heavy Duty Tie Rod Ends are larger, stronger, and more durable than stock and include grease fittings and dust boots with retaining rings for easy maintenance
  • Single plane tie rod ends eliminate unwanted drag link or tie rod movement and prevent the dead spot when changing direction
  • Kit is fully adjustable while installed in the vehicle, thanks to our Double Adjuster Sleeve and Pinch Bolt Assembly
  • Both the tie rod and drag link are fully sealed from the elements thanks to our Forged Pinch Bolt housings and complete welded assembly
  • Provides 2" of additional ground clearance from stock while adding critical strength
  • Pinch bolt design eliminates jam nuts, preventing loosening and alignment creep

  • Tie rod is engineered and bent from 1.5" x .188 wall heat treated 4130 chromoly
  • Two stage abrasion resistant powder coat finish for maximum durability and corrosion resistance
  • Synergy metal on metal, fully greaseable tie rod ends include a 4140 steel shank, a 1018 steel bearing housing, and capped with a heavy duty nitrile-butadiene rubber boot and retaining spring
  • Synergy Double Adjuster Sleeve and Pinch Bolt Assembly for easy alignment
  • 100% bolt on components assures an easy, trouble free installation with the use of basic hand tools

Fitment Notes:

  • Part update note: New single plane tie rod ends now included with all 1994 - present tie rods - part number 4169-L
    • New single plane tie rod ends are not compatible with the metal misalignment caps - part number 4134-02 
    • If upgrading to the new single plane tie rod end on older model tie rods for these model years, the opposing tie rod end will require a new poly boot part number 4131-01
    • If the cotter pin does not engage the castle nut upon install, a washer is required; Washer may not be required on all knuckles depending on casting differences and wear
  • Compatible with Ram 3500 4x4 Cab and Chassis models of the same generation 
  • Known compatibility with the following diff covers: Mag Hytec
  • Recommended Fox Steering Stabilizers (Not Included):
    • IFP - Internal Floating Piston (6401-01)
    • TS - Through Shaft (6402-03)
