- If upgrading to the new single plane tie rod end on older model tie rods for these model years, the opposing tie rod end will require a new poly boot part number 4131-01
- If the cotter pin does not engage the castle nut upon install, a washer is required; Washer may not be required on all knuckles depending on casting differences and wear
